Setup takes a few minutes \u2014 see <a href=\"https:\/\/seotune.app\/documentation\/\">Documentation<\/a> or the Installation section below.<\/p>\n\n<p>After you connect, the plugin automatically imports the last <strong>28 days<\/strong> of data so dashboards are useful right away. You can import more history anytime from <strong>Settings \u2192 Sync &amp; Import<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Privacy<\/h4>\n\n<p>This plugin does <strong>not<\/strong> track your website visitors and does <strong>not<\/strong> add pixels, ads, or analytics scripts to your public site.<\/p>\n\n<p>To work, it uses <strong>Google OAuth 2.0<\/strong> and the <strong>Search Console API<\/strong>. Tokens and imported metrics are stored <strong>in your WordPress database<\/strong> on your server. Data is shown only to administrators in the WordPress admin. You need a Google account with access to your site's Search Console property and an OAuth client from Google Cloud Console. Paste the Client ID and Secret into <strong>Seotune Search Insights \u2192 Settings<\/strong>, then click <strong>Connect to Google<\/strong>. Without this step, reports stay empty.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20is%20my%20search%20console%20data%20stored%3F\"><h3>Where is my Search Console data stored?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In your WordPress database on your server. Data is not sent to Seotune or to a third-party analytics service. Only users who can access your WordPress admin can view the dashboard.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20often%20does%20data%20update%3F\"><h3>How often does data update?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>After the first connection, recent data syncs automatically via WordPress cron. You can also run a manual sync or import more history from <strong>Settings \u2192 Sync &amp; Import<\/strong>.
