Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/custom-profile-avatar` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress. 3. Go to **Users Profile**. 4. Upload your custom avatar. 5. Optionally disable Gravatar in the plugin settings. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin completely disable Gravatar? Yes. You can disable Gravatar entirely so WordPress does not load external avatar images. ### Can each user upload their own avatar? Yes. Each user can upload their own profile avatar from their profile page. ### Does this work with existing themes? Yes.
